How do I book the Hall? You can book the hall by completing the Contact Form here or calling 07852 130915 How much does the Hall cost to hire? The rate is £20 per hour. Regular hirers can hire at a rate of £16 per hour. How do I pick up the keys? Before the date of hire, the Hirer should make arrangement to collect the keys. Details of which will be sent to you once payment has been received. The keys must be returned either directly after the event or the next day.
Do you allow teenage parties? We cannot accept parties for 12 to 29 year olds.
Can I have a Bouncy Castle? Yes. Only bouncy castles hired by compliant companies with the correct insurance can be used. The electrics must be PAT tested. Bouncy Castles CANNOT be used outside the hall. Children playing on the castle must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
What is the size of the Hall? The hall dimensions are: 7.0m wide 15.3m long to the stage
What is the height of the hall? Height at the side of the hall is 2.7m (8ft. 8inches) and approx. 3m (10ft) high in the centre, adequate for bouncy castles. The bracing bars are 3.1m (10ft. 10 inches) apart from each other.
How many people can I fit in the Hall? The hall capacity is 120 people.
How many tables and chairs are supplied? There are 10 folding tables, 1.82m x 75cm (6ft x 30inches) each seating up to 8 and plenty of chairs to seat at the tables.
What size are the tables? 1.82m x 75cm (6ft x 30”)
What is the size of the stage? Approx. 2.65m x 4.25m (8ft 8 inches x 14ft)
What facilities are there in the kitchen? Kitchen facilities are:

limited cutlery and crockery
Hirers should provide their own crockery, cutlery, and glasses for their function because the hall stock of these is minimal. If the hall stock is used please ensure that it is left clean and put away leaving the kitchen clean and tidy.
Can I view the Hall? If you would like to book a wedding or other event, then you are welcome to arrange a viewing before booking via the Contact us page.
What time does my event have to end? All events must finish so that the hall is completely vacated after clearing up by no later than 11.45pm
Do you offer a cleaning service? No. Please leave the hall in a clean and tidy condition and allow adequate time in your booking for cleaning.
Can I sell alcohol in the Hall? Yes. You MUST obtain a licence from Tandridge Council and send a copy to us prior to the event.
Is there a noise limiter in the Hall? The Hirer is responsible for ensuring that there is no unnecessary noise either inside or outside the building in order not to cause any nuisance or offence to local residents. The licence granted by Tandridge District Council stipulates that "the noise level of any music electronically amplified shall not exceed a maximum output of 90 decibels (Scale A) at the centre of the hall'.
All music and noise must cease by 11.15pm.
Is there WiFi at the Hall? There is no WiFi at present Can we bring our own electrical equipment to use? All electrical equipment brought into the hall by hirers is the responsibility of the hirer and must be Portable Appliance Tested by a qualified PAT tester.
Who looks after the Hall? The Bookings Administrator and The Hall Committee
Is there a piano in the hall? No
What are the arrangements for heating? Instructions for the control of the heating are on the wall by the thermostat. The heating thermostat has to be returned to 19° and all lights are turned off and the curtains are left open
Is there a PA system? No
Is there a loop sound system? No
Is there disabled access? Yes, there is access to the hall via the double doors opening onto the car park.
Are there baby changing facilities? Yes. Please ensure you take dirty nappies home with you.
What are the car parking facilities? There is parking available directly outside the hall and in nearby roads (please check parking restrictions.
In accordance with the Bye-laws, no parking is permitted on the Green itself and the hirer must ensure that users and visitors to their events/functions respect this condition.
If you notice people parking in the hall allocated spaces that are not using the hall please inform us.

What is the cancellation policy? The Hall Committee shall not be held responsible if any hiring has to be cancelled by the Committee for reasons beyond its control, except that any money already paid will be refunded.
If a booking is cancelled with notice of 30 days and over, a full refund will be given. Notice of 15-29 days, a 50% refund will be given and a notice of 14 days and under no refund will be given.
